A fantastic Spanish school, so happy I came across them. Walked in Poblado and saw their sign, walked in and was received very well and professionally in the reception. I was only 2 days in Medellín, they booked me in for the two days with 2 hours private tutoring daily. Very fair price. The professor Henry was outstanding. He challenged and taught me in a great way. I learned enormously about Colombia/Medellin and we spoke a lot of Spanish in those two days. I give my very best recommendations and will go back soonest again to have more lessons.

Took group classes as well as private classes here after not having spoken Spanish in a long while. I felt much more comfortable going out in Medellín to shops, restaurants, and bars after learning from the teachers. They were able to accommodate classes around my unpredictable remote work schedule so I was very glad to have signed up with Valley.

I absolutely love taking classes with Veroníca!! She’s personable & such a great teacher. I take private classes due to my work schedule and they are worth every penny. Veroníca really takes her time to explain things and I appreciate that whenever i get stuck on a word she’ll write it down on the board so i have like an ever growing list of vocabulary words. I HIGHLY recommend taking classes with her!!! Also the bakery has some of the best pasteles de pollo in Medellin

To give some context to this review I had been studying Spanish before for around a year using websites like Lingoda and Spanish VIP. My current levels are: Grammar - B1 Speaking and listening - Upper A2 I originally signed up for a 1 week intensive course at Valley Spanish School (4 hours a day), but ended up extending for a whole month! as i was learning so much and my teacher Veronica is one of (if not the best) Spanish teacher I've had. What I loved about doing this Intensive course is that I got to take a deeper look into topics than I normally have and it really cleared up some parts that I had struggled with in the past. [Teachers] My main teacher was Veronica who was amazing, but the 2 other teachers I had briefly were great too [Lessons] The format of the lessons was generally to have a conversation to start for 30-60 minutes to practice conversation skills. Then the over 3 hours would be a deep dive into a particular topic (past tense, imperative, subjunctive etc...) learning from the white board and doing practical exercises. At my Spanish level there was one other person in the group, which for me was a perfect group size. [Location] The location of the school is great as it's on the main road in the main tourist area (El Poblado), so there is a lot to do nearby [The School] Downstairs there is a nice cafe, which is useful for having a break, and also a dance school. I also did some Salsa and Bachata lessons at the school, which were fun. They also offer language exchanges, but I didn't attend any in my time, so cannot comment on these [Price] Before signing up I checked a few nearby Spanish schools and they are all around the same price

Hola amigos. I did 2 weeks of private classes as a total beginner and learnt a lot more than I thought I would. It’s great being able to walk around Medellin and have a basic level understanding of what is being said and being able to have simple conversations with locals here. I highly recommend Valley Spanish school to learn Spanish.
